Flex Rates
Flex Rates give you the very best available
price for the motorhome you want to rent.
If you book early and there are plenty of motorhomes available, you
will
pay a much
lower price. If you book closer to departure date or book for a high
demand period
then the rate will be higher.
However, once booked, should you need to amend the dates, the prevailing
rates
will apply. We get advised of new flex rates each week. Therefore
each quote only
valid until the end of each week.

A Flat Tax of 10% applies to all rentals. This covers State taxes and charges.

Insurance and Bond Options:
Your
rental includes Standard Insurance with
an excess of USD $1000 per
incident. You are required to leave
a bond of USD $1000 at the time of pick
up by credit card only (refunded
when you return the vehicle on time,
undamaged
and clean).
Admin fee of USD $30 applies to the bond.
Public Liability Insurance is included in the rental
rate, with cover of upto USD $1 million.
One Way Rentals:
One
Way Rentals are available between all depots. A one way
fee of USD $200 applies.

Transfers:
Apollo RV do not offer transfers to
/ from the rental depot. You will need to
make your own way.
Burning Man Festival:
An additional surcharge
of USD $500 applies for travel to the Burning Man Festival.
Drivers Licence:
A valid, non-provisional, state or
overseas driver’s licence is required.
If the driver’s licence is not in the English language (e.g. German, French,
Chinese, etc) then an international driver’s licence is also required.
The driver’s licence must have been held for at least two years and be
valid for the whole length of the rental. The original driver’s licence
must be shown at time of pick-up when the driver is present.
Minimum and Maximum Age:
The minimum age to drive the vehicle is 21 years and the maximum age is 75 years.
Multiple Rentals:
Consecutive rentals can be combined to qualify for a long-term
discount rate. Rentals in the United States of America, Australia and New Zealand
can be combined to obtain a long-term discount rate, providing travel is within
a 3 month period. If drop off of a vehicle and pick up of a new vehicle occurs
on the same day then a day each will be charged per respective vehicle. Multiple
rentals are treated as separate rentals under the one way fee and minimum rental
period conditions.
Pick Up and Return Time:
Vehicles can be collected and returned Monday to Friday between 9am and 4pm,
and Saturday between 9am and 11am.

Travel Restrictions:
Death Valley and Desert areas: Vehicles are not allowed to operate in Death Valley
and other desert areas during the months of May to September. At other times
clients visit these areas at their own risk and are thus responsible for all
recovery and other charges. During certain periods these areas are not habitable
and could pose a danger to the driver and passengers.
Travel to Mexico, Alaska, Yukon and Northwest Territories & Newfoundland
is strictly prohibited.
Manhattan: Due to restrictions on vehicle heights, propane gas and parking, vehicles
with propane are not permitted in Manhattan and are not permitted to travel through
any underground or underwater tunnels.
