- Supplemental Liability Insurance: USD$9 per day.
Mileage Options:
- 500mile Packs: USD$190 per pack
- Additional Miles: USD$0.39 + tax per mile (payable at the end of your rental)
- Unlimited Miles: USD$70 per day (minimum 14 days)

New Jersey Security Fee:
USD$5 per day (max USD$140) applies to all NYC Pick ups.
Winterized vehicles:
Vehicles are winterized in areas with temperatures below freezing point. The water-/waste water system will be drained and CANNOT be used! US$100.00 re-winterization fee & damages caused by freezing will be charged if customer de-winterizes system on the road.
Drivers Licence and Age:
A valid national driver's license is required for each driver. In addition we recommend that foreign customers have an international driver's license or an English translation of the license issued by their home country. All drivers must be at least 25 years of age
Restrictictions:
- Pets: Sorry, no pets allowed.
- Smoking: No smoking in vehicles. Cleaning fees will apply.
- Mexico Travel: Travel to Mexico is not permitted.
- Death Valley: Travel is not permitted to Death Valley between 15 June and 15 September.
- Travel to Alaska, Yukon and / or NWT is permitted but you must advise at the time of booking.
Security Deposit:
You are required to leave a security deposit of USD$1000 at the time of pick up.
This amount will be blocked on your credit card. An additional security deposit may be required when attending events such as burning man etc where the deposit will be charged (not blocked).
Security deposit will be released when the vehicle has been returned clean, undamaged and on time.
Special Event Conditions:
Minimum rental periods apply for Special event rentals:
- NASCAR: 4 days
- Bonnaroo and Burning Man: 7 Days
Bonnaroo: A US$1,500.00 refundable cleaning & security deposit (authorized on credit card only) is
required for this event!
Burning Man: Road Bear will combine the Security & Cleaning deposits for Burning Man and CHARGE (credit
card only) a refundable US $1,500.00 Deposit at pick-up.
Road Bear will NOT allow name changes on confirmed reservations and the main renter/credit
card holder must be present at time of vehicle pick up. Vehicles will not be handed over to a 3rd
party or in case of insufficient funds for the security deposit. The reservation will be cancelled
and prepaid funds are forfeit! No exceptions please.
Pick Up and Return Time:
Vehicle pick up time is between 12.00 noon and 4.00 pm. Vehicle return time is between 8.00 am and
11.00 am. A charge of US$ 30.00/hour applies for a late vehicle return. Complimentary transfers are not available after 11 am.

Hours of Operation:
Monday through Friday from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm, Saturday from 8.00 am to 1.00 pm. All stations are closed on Sundays and on all statutory holidays.

Cancellation and Amendment Fees:
Amendment Fee: Firamendment is free. A fee of USD$50 applies to each amendment thereafter.
- 60 Days or more prior to pick up: USD$200
- 59-30 days prior to pick up: 30% of the daily rate + full one way fee if applicable.
- 29-15 days prior to pick up: 60% off the daily rate + full one way fee if applicable.
- 14 days or less prior to pick up: 100% of the daily rate + full one way fee if applicable.
