
El Monte USA Motorhomes Diesel Pusher Conditions
RV and Campervan Rental - Rates in US Dollars
1) Pick up only at the Southern California Rental offices located in El Monte, Santa Fe Springs, San Bernardino, Santa Ana, Irvine, Torrance and Van Nuys.
2) Minimum rental periods apply.
3) There are no miles included and no mileage packages may be purchased.
All miles will be estimated and charged at pick up of the rental vehicle:
• AD39 Diesel – Discovery = 39 cents per mile
• AP39 Diesel – Providence = 39 cents per mile
• AV39 Diesel – Providence = 39 cents per mile
• AE40** Diesel – Excursion = 39 cents per mile
4) No discounts apply.
5) Towing is not allowed.
6) Delivery of vehicle not offered – extensive check-out & check-in procedures are
required.
7) USD $500 Cancellation Fee in addition to any other applicable fee.
8) If damage occurs, customer will be charged the nightly rate until vehicle is repaired (days will be estimated) in addition to the damage deductible per occurrence.
9) Security Deposit in the amount of USD $5,000 is required at the rental counter. The security deposit is a verification and pre-authorization of available funds on customer’s credit card. The pre-authorization is reversed at the time of return. The security deposit must be made with a major credit card. ATM/Debit/Check Cards/Cash are not accepted.
10) Customer must present an automobile insurance certificate indicating Third Party
Liability Insurance and comprehensive and collision damage coverage extending to the
rental vehicle.
11) Customers must purchase EL Monte RV’s renter liability insurance (RLI) and vehicle
incident protection (VIP) if customer is unable to obtain an insurance certificate.
12) Vehicle Incident Protection (VIP) reduces the Damage Deductible to USD $7,500 Per
Occurrence and is available at a cost of USD $35 per night.
13) Diesel Pusher units are not permitted to travel in Mexico.
14) Customer must initial addendum (V00.1AD) to the rental contract.
** Due to the vehicle’s length, the AE40 motorhome unit type requires that the driver be in
possession of a valid class B or class A license. Standard class C license is not legally sufficient
to drive vehicles of 40ft or longer.
