Prep Fee:
Mandatory USD $185 per vehicle at all locations. Payable at counter. Prep fee includes: Full tank of LPG, personal instructions on the use of the vehicle, a supply of toilet chemicals and tissue, fresh water hose and waste water hose, instruction manual, campground guides and maps, external cleaning

New Jersey State Rental Security Fee:
USD $5 per night (maximum USD $140) applies to all Pick ups at New York City. Paid on pick up.

Priority A.M. Departure:
USD $65 Restricted to the following locations: LAS, LAX, MCO, NYC and SFO. Priority AM departure takes place between 6:45am and 8:00am. This must be pre-booked no less than 7 days prior to pick up. Transfers not included. (not available at IAD & BOS)

IImport / Export Fee: We try to confirm all One-way requests. However, there are times when the
direction of the drop or time of year does not make sense in terms of fleet utilization. Therefore, El
Monte RV will consider accepting a specific one-way request for the standard one-way fee PLUS up to
an additional $2,000 to import or export the motor home to or from the location needed.
 
Security Deposit:
A USD $1,000 (USD $5,000 for Diesel Pusher Units) security deposit is required at the time of departure. The deposit is to be guaranteed by a major credit card such as Visa, MasterCard, Amex with sufficient credit balance to cover this amount. No ATM / debit cards such as EuroCard are accepted.

The security deposit of USD $1,000 (USD $5,000 for Diesel Pusher Units) may be charged on the customer's credit card on pick up, then refunded upon return provided that the rental vehicle is returned clean inside, undamaged and on time. The USD $1,000 may take up to 8 weeks to be credited back to the customer's credit card. Currency conversion fees are client's responsibility.

Flex Rates:
Elmonte's Daily Rental Rates are know as 'Flex Rates' . These give you the very best available price for the motorhome you want to rent. If you book early and there are plenty of motorhomes available, you will pay a much lower price. If you book closer to departure date or book for a high demand period then the rate will be higher. This is a similar system to that used by airlines.

No mileage is included in the Flex rates. Choose from the available mileage options above. Once booked and confirmed, should you need to change, the rate will be re-calculated using the most current Flex rate and compared to the existing flex rate. The higher rate will prevai. Changing party size or adding pre-paid items does not consitute a change. Flex rate valid for 40 days and on day 41 a new Flex rate will apply.

Location closing dates are subject to change.

Pick Up Times: After 1:00pm. You must call the depot the day prior or the morning of pick up to confirm the time that your vehicle will be ready for collection.
Drop Off Times: Drop off takes place between 8:00am and 11:00am. Fees apply for drop off after 11:00am.

American Public Holidays:
Recommendation: Due to heightened volumes of travel during holiday seasons we recommend that customers avoid beginning or ending their motorhome rental on the day immediately before or after a holiday date. Otherwise, customers may experience airline delays, increased road traffic and possible delays at rental office.

All stations are closed for the following holidays. No bookings will be accepted for pick up or return on
these dates. No exceptions.
