To Arrange Transfers:
Transfers must be pre-booked, and we do ask for at least 7 days notice for transfers.
You are required to call the transfer line by 9:30am on the morining of pickup to arrange the transfer time (number will be provided).
Transfers take place between 10am and 2pm, and a shuttle will meet you at the designated hotel at the pre-arranged time.

Priority Am Departure (PAD) Transfers: USD $85 + tax
Priority AM departure takes place between 6:45am and 8:00am. Transfers are available from selected hotels only noted below with an asterix (*). This must be pre-booked no less than 7 days prior to pick up, and is only available from Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas, New York and Orlando.
Depots that Offer Transfers:
Transfers are provided to all depots excluding: Denver, Albuquerque, Miami, Atlanta, Washington DC and Salt Lake City.
Transfers to the Bellingham depot from selected Vancouver Airport hotels are available but an additional cost of USD $100 + tax applies per party. Transfers are not available to / from Seattle. A border crossing fee of USD $6 per person may be required at the border.
Transfers are available from the following hotels:
You are not required to stay overnight at these hotels, but you must make your own way to meet the shuttle there.
No transfer is offered directly from the airport arrival terminals.

Shuttle Transfers :

New: Shuttle Transfer Fee (STF): Due to increased insurance and fuel costs, starting 01 November 2010, El Monte RV will charge a modest per person fee for the Standard and PA shuttle transfer service to and from selected locations. Shuttle Transfer fee (STF): $15 per person / per direction

  • Clients, agents and tour operators are requested to continue indicating at the time of booking how many persons will be traveling.
  • No pre-payment of STF available.
  • El Monte RV’s transfer is optional. Where ever possible alternative transfer options have been provided. As this information is subject to change, El Monte RV and/or their offices a not responsible for its accuracy.
  • Rental Pick-up: El Monte RV will charge the $15 / person fee at time of rental pick up for those clients who were transferred to the office by El Monte RV’s shuttle service.
  • Rental Return: Upon client’s return the STF will be charged to those clients transferred the airport or designated hotels in an El Monte RV shuttle.
  • Note: Bellingham / Vancouver transfer: There will no longer be a per booking fee for Vancouver airport / hotel transfers. Instead, the per person STF will apply.
Standard Transfer : Pick Up
Locations:
  - Transfer for a fee is available at: DFW, LAS, LAX, MCO, NYC, SFO & YVR only.

Contact number:
  - Client must call 1-800-367-6507* no later than 9:30 AM the morning of motor home takeover to schedule pick up time and confirm hotel entrance.
  - Under no circumstances should clients arrive unannounced.

Transfer time:
  - Shuttle arrives between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM at designated hotels only.
  - Note: Delays may occur during peak season, certain holiday or heightened security periods. No refunds are given for transfer delays.

Vancouver (YVR) transfer:
  - Pick up from specific Vancouver airport area hotels only.
  - Pick up time after 12:00 pm.
  - Standard STF will be charged.
  - US Border Crossing Fee of $6 per person is required at the border. Clients should be aware that a visa to enter the United States may be required.
  - No transfer is offered to downtown SEATTLE or to SEATAC Airport.

PAD (Priority AM Departure): See ‘Value Rates and Pricing’ for PAD fee.

PAD locations / Hotels:
  - Restricted to the following locations: LAS, LAX, MCO, NYC and SFO.
  - PAD is restricted solely to those hotels designated as PAD hotels in El Monte RV’s Transfer & Hotel Information’ pages
Note: PAD does not include the STF. Clients will still need to pay this transfer fee.

Hotel notification:
  - A ‘Client Information’ form is available to wholesalers for clients or agents to fill out and fax to us in advance of motor home takeover indicating PAD hotel. This form is also available online at www.myelmonterv.com
  - Client Information form must be received indicating PAD hotel no fewer than 7 days prior to vehicle takeover. There are no refunds for PAD surcharge if we do not receive PAD hotel information 7 days prior to pick up. No exceptions.
  - In the event client or agent fails to notify El Monte RV, or notifies us less than 7 days prior to takeover client will either have to accept standard transfer with accompanying STF, or provide their own transfer at their own expense.

  - PAD Transfer instructions. A pre-recorded message is available at 1-800-337-2199* which instructs at what time and at which entrance clients should wait for transfer shuttle:

  - Courtesy Shuttle departs YVR location at approximately 10:00 am.
  - The standard STF will be charged.
  - Due to increased security and traffic, delays crossing into Canada are possible. El Monte RV is not responsible for any refunds of any type as a result of border crossing delays.
  - No transfer is provided to downtown SEATTLE or SEATAC Airport.

Self-Transfer:

Takeover scheduling:
  - Clients must call 1-800-367-6507 no later than the morning of scheduled pick-up to arrange vehicle takeover time at these locations: DFW, LAS, LAX, MCO, NYC, SFO and YVR.
  - For all other locations clients must contact the individual rental locations. Local telephone numbers are provided online at www.MyElMonteRV.com as well as below.
  - Under no circumstances should clients arrive unannounced.

Takeover time:
  - After 1:00 pm, even if clients arrive earlier; subject to vehicle readiness.
  - Clients may book PAD in advance which will guarantee them a departure ready vehicle no later than 11:00, even if they arrive via self-transfer.
